The following Professional Dress Code is
required for the Opening Session, judged and non-judged competitive
events, and for the Awards Ceremony.

SLC Dress Code
In order to promote a
professional atmosphere, the Ohio Association Executive Board has
approved the following official dress code policy for the 2011 State
Leadership Conference. Students, advisors, and chaperones must follow
the established dress code.
Professional Dress Code
Professional attire is
required for all general sessions, competitive events, and the Grand
Awards Ceremony.
Strapless, spaghetti straps, midriff tops, and transparent clothing are not
acceptable professional attire. Denim is excluded for both women
and men.

Casual Dress Code
Casual dress is
appropriate for the Thursday evening dance, Blue Jackets game, and other
non-competitive event activities. The following is appropriate for both
men and women.

Sportswear (jeans), pants,
and shirt, t-shirt, and shorts.

Footwear is required at
all times.
Swimsuits must be covered with appropriate attire while in
any area except the hotel pool.
Violation of the
official Ohio BPA dress code can result in competitive event
disqualification. The minimum penalty for a dress code violation will be
a point deduction that prohibits the student from placing in the top ten
for his or her competitive event.
