Sarah Crist

Future
Plans: Sarah plans to attend the University of Cincinnati and earn a
bachelor’s degree in communications. Following her undergraduate studies,
Sarah would like to earn a master’s degree in communications as well. She
hopes to work for a Fortune 500 company.

Hobbies:
Sarah is a varsity football cheerleader and captain of her high school’s
swim team. She is an eighth grade cheerleading coach and enjoys
volunteering. Sarah works as a manager and a lifeguard at Black Oak Swim
Club during the summer.

Inspiration:
Sarah’s parents, Mel and Anne Crist, are her inspiration and have helped
motivate her to achieve all that she has accomplished. Her parents have been
her backbone and continue to be her support system for all of her endeavors.
They have been outstanding role models for Sarah, displaying a positive
outlook on life and an outstanding work ethic.

Statement:
I am extremely honored to serve the members of Business Professionals of
America as the Ohio Association State President. I want to provide the
members of Ohio with quality leadership and give back to an organization
that has given so much to me.
Logan Krivak
Vice President - Ohio

Future
Plans: Logan is a junior and has not chosen the college he will
attend at this time. He plans to major in physical and massage therapy. His
college choice will depend upon his finding the one with the best program in
his chosen field.

Hobbies/Interests: Logan loves sports and outdoor activities. He runs
cross-country and track, and plays basketball. Spending time with his
family and friends is also an important part of his life.

Inspiration:
My brother, who is now deceased, was my favorite person in the whole world.
He made some bad decisions and died at a young age. You may not think that
is someone to look up to, but he is my inspiration because of all of the
things I know he could have achieved if he had made better choices. He
serves as an example of unfulfilled potential.

Statement:
This State Officer team will not be forgotten. The team plans to leave a
permanent mark on the organization. Logan believes this year will be the
best year ever for Business Professionals of America, Ohio Association.
Jerron Taylor
Secretary - Ohio

Future
Plans: Following high school graduation, Jerron plans to continue his
education at either Miami of Ohio University or The Ohio State University
where he will pursue a master’s degree in Business Administration.
Eventually, Jerron would like to work his way into a Fortune 500 company and
continue to develop relationships among those involved in Business
Professionals of America.

Hobbies/Interests: Jerron’s hobbies and interests include playing
varsity football, varsity baseball, varsity track, student council, and
keeping busy with two jobs. He is a three-year letterman in varsity football
and in Student Council. Through Student Council, Jerron volunteers at the
Oho Veterans Home and also volunteers through the Sandusky Volunteer Center.

Inspiration:
My inspiration is my mother because she has worked hard to help me become a
great student through her dedication to work. She has taught me to be
grateful for what I have and embrace others with the respect they deserve.

Statement:
I believe that I am blessed with a tremendous opportunity to display my
skills to my BPA peers. I can establish lifelong relationships and
experiences that will help not only my future, but also help the Ohio
Association. I plan to be an example of what can be achieved with hard work
and dedication.
Jake Powell
Treasurer - Ohio

Future Plans:
After Jake graduates from high school, he plans to attend Columbus State and
earn an associate degree in Fire Science. His long-term plan is to become
a full-time firefighter.

Hobbies/Interests: In his spare time, Jake enjoys playing sports, riding
four wheelers, and hunting.
·
Inspiration:
Jake’s parents and his teacher Mrs. Litter provide inspiration for achieving
his goals. He believes that they push him to be the best person he can be,
and with their guidance he has achieved many of his objectives.

Statement:
I am so grateful for the opportunity I have been given by the Ohio
Association members to serve as a State Officer for the second year. To
show my appreciation, I will serve to the best of my abilities and help to
make this year the best it can be for the Ohio Association members.
Jordan Wilcox
Historian -

Future
Plans: Jordan plans to attend Michigan State University, where she will
major in Equine Business Management. As a part of her program at MSU, she
plans to study abroad in Ireland. She aspires to run a successful riding
center.

Hobbies/Interests: Jordan enjoys horseback riding, running, hiking,
rowing, raising awareness of the Save Darfur Coalition, and spending
time with her family and friends.
·
Inspiration:
I find much of my inspiration from the life and choices of Nelson Mandela.
He is considered one of the greatest statesmen of all time and is well known
for his oration skill and his fair judgment. I believe I have much to learn
from such a highly respected leader.

Statement:
I look forward to a great year in Business Professionals of America. I
believe this state officer team is cohesive and efficient, which will help
us work for the Ohio Association members. I thank the members for their
honor and respect shown by their electing me to an officer position.
Dominic Rinaldi

Plans: Dominic has not selected his college at this point. He plans to
earn his degree in some aspect of the information technology field.

Hobbies/Interests: Dominic enjoys debating and working with computer
applications and computer hardware

Inspiration:
I acquire inspiration from the modern technology savvy businessman.

Statement
– As Parliamentarian, I will do my best to make all the business-related
meetings for the Ohio Association State Officer Team as efficient as
possible. I will also strive to enhance and improve our organization.

Jessica Webb Guerrero

Secondary Division Historian
With two years under her belt as a member of Business
Professionals of America, Jessica Webb Guerrero has become the
2010-2011 National Historian; first attaining presidency of her
chapter and region as well as running for state office.
In her personal life, Jessica enjoys attending church, cleaning,
cooking, crafts, and recently being married to her high school
sweetheart, Anthony Guerrero. While Jessica still represents
Ohio, her home state, she currently resides in Illinois and
works at Solix CMR, as a Business-to-Business Sales Agent.
In the fall, Jessica will be putting the skills and knowledge
she learned from her Legal Assistant training and her time in
Business Professionals of America to pursue her post-secondary
education full-time at Sinclair Community College, receiving her
Associates Degree in Business. Then she plans to transfer to
Texas A&M for a Bachelors Degree in Public Relations. Her
ultimate goal is to work as a broadcast journalist or a public
speaker.

Holley Wolfe

Post-Secondary Division Secretary/Treasurer
Holley Wolfe joined the 2010-2011 BPA National Officer Team
after being a BPA member for three years. During that time,
Holley has been actively involved, placing at nationals each
year, receiving her Ambassador Torch Award, and serving on
officer teams at the local and state level each year.
In addition to her BPA commitments, Holley is involved in Phi
Theta Kappa International Honor Society, the Community Drama
Team, the School Choir, her Church Choir, and her Church Drama
Team.
Holley plans to use the leadership skills she has gained from
BPA as she continues her education by pursuing a Master’s Degree
in Post-Secondary/Adult Education through Capella University in
Minneapolis, Minnesota.
