Why I’m Involved

 Why am I involved in Business Professionals of America? BPA has more than 51,000 members in over 2,300 chapters in 23 states.  The real question is...why WOULDN'T I be involved in BPA. 

As a freshman, my older sister was a senior and member of our local BPA chapter.  It was she who told me to sign up to be BPA member.  I never really understood the depth of BPA until the Fall Leadership Conference at Veterans Memorial in Columbus.  After being involved in the campaign rally and voting for my favorite speeches, I was over-whelmed to say the least.  It was that day that I realized BPA had so much to offer.  BPA members are instilled with leadership, service, cooperation, knowledge, friendships, and pride.  BPA is for everyone.            That should answer the question: "Why am I involved in BPA", and if you're not in BPA, that should make you question yourself: "Why aren't YOU?"  If you're more of a 'behind the scenes' person, you would be fit for helping out with a campaign or giving input on an important decision.  If you're more of a competitor, you would enjoy entering a competitive event for a chance to go to Nationals!  Regardless of your demeanor, you can find your personal fit in BPA.  Get involved!
